I have a 5 year old and still breast feed. I think the “extended breastfeeding”is the best option for the children and there is nothing that equals. For the love of God I want my son to grow up happy, healthy and protected and what better than to nurse and let him sleep in bed with us? There will come a day (as I did) that will say “Mom, I do not want more chest and I sleep in my bed” I did, my parents took care of me until one day so I made the decision to dissociate and never felt that I abandon and that’s the kind of treatment I want for my children.
